Global academic talent through a single source
What?
Hiring a wide range of international faculty is key to a university's advancement. To help fulfil this, QS Academic International Mobility (QS AIM) has a simple goal of becoming the most effective academic job site for global recruitment. The portal will enable universities worldwide to reach an audience of some 200,000 top academic applicants, attracting more and better international recruits to key vacancies.
Why?
The internet is the established method of advertising academic vacancies, through universities' own websites and through independent job portals. Many academic job portals exist to primarily serve the needs of their home country and therefore have a low level of international reach and content. QS AIM is truly global both in reach and in content.
How?
QS AIM will, for its first twelve months of operation, carry up to 10,000 current university job listings free of charge. Vacancies will be drawn by a dedicated team of QS researchers primarily focusing on vacancies from universities in the 100-350 range of the QS World University Rankings ®. Initially all job listings will be maintained by QS AIM to the same level of currency and accuracy as the universities' own job boards. Subsequently, universities may have their own log on the administrative area of the site and update their jobs directly.
