How to get to Goa?
Airport
The state’s two international airports are Goa International Airport (GOI) at Dabolim, South Goa and Manohar International Airport (GOX) at Mopa, North Goa. Both airports offer regular domestic and international flights connecting Goa with major cities across India and selected international destinations. Delegates are advised to confirm which airport their airline operates to or from before booking their travel.
Railway
Goa is well connected to major cities across India through the Konkan Railway network. The principal railway stations serving the state include Madgaon (Margao), Thivim, Vasco da Gama and Karmali, offering convenient connections from cities including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kochi.
Road
Goa is easily accessible via National Highway 66 and other major highways connecting the state with neighbouring regions. Interstate bus services, taxis and private transfers operate regularly from nearby cities.
Local Transportation
Prepaid taxi services are available at both airports, and private taxi operators provide convenient transfers throughout Goa. Delegates may also arrange airport transfers directly with their hotel. Car rental services are available for those wishing to explore the region independently.
Weather
February is one of the most pleasant times to visit Goa. Delegates can generally expect warm, sunny weather with daytime temperatures ranging between 22°C and 32°C.
