QS Africa Forum 2026 destination

Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

One of Africa's most dynamic capitals, Addis Ababa serves as the continent's diplomatic heartland, hosting the African Union and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa. Its cultural depth is equally compelling - a tapestry of faiths, traditions and history reflected in its churches, mosques and world-class institutions, including the Ethiopian National Museum, home to the fossilized remains of Lucy, the celebrated Australopithecine discovery that cemented the region's place in human prehistory.

How to Get to Addis Ababa

Flight

Addis Ababa Bole International (ADD) is a premier African hub with extensive global connections. It is situated a short drive from the city center via the Ring Road.

Rail

A high-speed electric train links Addis Ababa (Furi-Labu station) to Djibouti in under 12 hours.

Important visa requirement for all participants

All attendees of the QS Africa Forum 2026 are required to obtain a Workshop/Conference Visa (CV) prior to travel.
