The QS Higher Ed Summit: Americas Committee invites you to help shape the next Summit by submitting a short presentation on a topic or theme to support the transformation of higher education within the region. Proposals will be evaluated on how well they fit within the Summit theme and objectives, and applicants will be informed about the outcome of the evaluation as soon as possible.
The QS Higher Ed Summit: Americas 2026 explores how the region can leverage its position in the global higher education arena, as a destination rooted in human excellence, innovation and global solidarity.
In a world where students are seeking affordability, cultural depth, emerging market relevance and alternative destinations beyond traditional study hubs, Latin America has a strategic opportunity. A culture rooted in human excellence, innovation, and global solidarity is what will enable the region to take a position that is not only competitive but also proactive.
Please read our user guide before submitting a proposal.
As you consider submitting a proposal, please reflect on the following questions:
- How is your institution rethinking student perspectives, recruitment strategies and cross-regional mobility?
- How is your institution building meaningful relationships regionally or globally?
- What approaches is your institution taking to share the mission to serve as sources of growth, development, and humanization?
- How is your institution contributing to the region’s collective role in research impact, especially in the fields of environment and natural labs?
- How is human excellence, innovation and global solidarity feeding into your institution’s advancement of teaching and learning for the next generation?
- How is your institution approaching the growth of digital, AI and green skills needed for the future workforce?
- How is your institution navigating shifting geopolitical dynamics to sustain collaboration, academic freedom, and knowledge exchange across the Americas and beyond?
- What models of “universitarian formation” are being implemented to integrate professional education with civic responsibility and social impact?
Please note: We can accept up to three submissions per institution or organisation for the QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific 2026. Non-academic organisations are encouraged to focus on impact-led storytelling. Proposals that are too product-focused will be unsuccessful.
