The deadline for your proposal is 27 March 2026.

The QS Higher Ed Summit: Europe 2026 Committee invites you to help shape the next Summit by submitting a short presentation on a topic or theme to support the transformation of higher education within the region. Proposals will be evaluated on how well they fit within the Summit theme and objectives, and applicants will be informed about the outcome of the evaluation as soon as possible.

The QS Higher Ed Summit: Europe explores the strategies that institutions can employ to position themselves as leaders in the global academic arena and the broader community. While the region faces new challenges in navigating disruption beyond its control, Europe has an opportunity to sharpen its advantage under pressure.

By integrating innovative research, fostering inclusive environments, and aligning educational offerings with future skills needs, universities can strengthen their reputation and attract a diversity of students and faculty from around the world.

Please read our user guide before submitting a proposal.

As you consider submitting a proposal, please reflect on the following questions:
  • How is your institution responding to changing global student flows, and what insights from your experience could inform future recruitment strategies?
  • How can European mobility or research frameworks be used more strategically to strengthen institutional positioning and partnerships?
  • How are changing national policies, geopolitical dynamics, and economic pressures influencing your institution’s strategy, positioning, and role within the wider European higher education landscape?
  • What approaches is your institution taking to strengthen innovation, entrepreneurship, and transnational collaboration?
  • How is your institution embedding skills development, industry alignment, and employability outcomes into its reputation, recruitment strategy, and student experience?
  • How is your institution contributing to Europe’s collective reputation as a study destination, particularly in a time of geopolitical uncertainty and changing student expectations?
  • How is your institution responding to financial, structural, and research-related pressures to build long-term resilience and sustainability?

Please note: We can accept up to three submissions per institution or organisation for the QS Higher Ed Summit: Europe 2026. Non-academic organisations are encouraged to focus on impact-led storytelling. Proposals that are too product-focused will be unsuccessful.
