Cerys Hutton

Cerys Hutton is a senior product and AI transformation leader at the University of Warwick, where she leads the AI Centre of Excellence and the Warwick Digital Academy.

Cerys is responsible for shaping institutional AI strategy alongside the DPVCs for Education and Research across one of the UK's leading Russell Group universities.

With over a decade of experience building and scaling digital learning and assessment platforms, Cerys brings a rare combination of strategic vision and hands-on product leadership across both secondary and higher education. Prior to Warwick, she held senior roles at Cambridge University Press & Assessment, where she led the digital product development team for international GCSE and A Level assessment transformation, and contributed to the Cambridge Digital Education Futures Initiative.

Cerys is a passionate advocate for responsible AI in education, co-chairing Warwick's AI Steering Group, and collaborating across Warwick and the Russell Group to contribute to evolving thinking about how universities can best equip staff and students with the skills and judgment to navigate a rapidly changing landscape.
