Christopher Cripps

Christopher Cripps is an American-born international higher education leader based in France with over 30 years of global experience spanning international strategy, global partnerships, transnational education, executive education, branding and marketing.

Since June 2024, he has served as Vice-President for Europe and International Affairs at the Institut Polytechnique de Paris (IP Paris), where he leads international strategy and advances the institution’s global engagement. He previously served as Senior Advisor for Global Engagement and Diplomatic Affairs to the President of Sorbonne University. Christopher has also held senior international roles at PSL University, CentraleSupélec, and Grenoble Ecole de Management.

His work focuses on building sustainable international partnerships with some of the world’s leading universities and navigating the policy, geopolitical, and institutional dynamics shaping global higher education. He has advised the French Prime Minister’s Office on higher education internationalization and is a frequent conference speaker, consultant, and certified professional coach.
