Dr. Daniela Salgado Gutiérrez is an academic and researcher specializing in the theory and philosophy of education, moral education, character education and citizenship, as well as family and social pedagogy. She holds a degree in Pedagogy from Universidad Panamericana (Guadalajara campus), a Master's in Marriage and Family (2010), and a PhD in Education, awarded Cum Laude (2018), from the University of Navarra. Since 2012 she has been part of Universidad Panamericana, where she currently serves as Director of Research in the School of Pedagogy and Psychology. She has taught undergraduate and graduate courses such as Theory of Education and Family as an Educational Community, and has taken part in initiatives focused on character development, civic education and strengthening educational leadership in school and family contexts. Her academic work seeks to bridge theoretical foundations with pedagogical innovation, promoting the development of virtues, the cultivation of sound judgment, and educational leadership. She was a TEDx speaker at Universidad Panamericana with the talk “¿Cuánto pesa tu costal?” (English: “How heavy is your load?”) and collaborates with educational communities and organizations interested in the holistic development of students, families and teachers
