Doug Lynch

Doug Lynch is a professor at the University of Southern California, where he teaches economics, leadership, innovation, and organizational change to doctoral students. A recognized leader in higher education innovation, Doug has helped launch pioneering academic programs, including Penn's master's degree in medical education for physicians and the PennCLO doctoral program for corporate learning leaders. He has also been an influential force in educational entrepreneurship, founding the USC education technology accelerator (ranked by Time as one of best accelerator in the country), helping build EdTech ecosystems at USC, Penn, and NYU, founding the Penn GSE–Milken Education Business Plan Competition, and co-founding one of the nation's first charter schools. His work spans higher education, K–12, EdTech, and workforce learning, with publications and advisory roles focused on scaling innovation across education systems. Doug has served on presidential and gubernatorial advisory boards, chaired the U.S. delegation to the International Standards Organization on corporate learning, and received numerous national awards for innovation and leadership. The SEC hired him to design and deliver WorldCom's Ethics Training after the sanctions, he advised FDNY after 9/11 and served for ten years on the board of visitors for the C.I.A.
