Dr. Anh Phuong Nguyen is the Founder and CEO of Potenso; and a member of the International Advisory Council at Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS (UTP).
A PETRONAS full scholarship recipient, she holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi PETRONAS, a PhD in Chemical Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, and an MBA from Boston University.
Across fifteen years with leading international firms, she has specialized in translating research into operational results. At Chevron in the US, she developed machine learning methods that raised oil recovery by 10–15% across the corporation's business units. At Pixelz from Denmark, she led AI automation project to transform operation from a negative margin to profitability.
At Potenso, she has built a project-based model bringing academics, industry practitioners, and students onto the same team. Potenso placed top three in the 2025 Oregon Trade Mission pitch for Vietnamese women entrepreneurs.
