Dr. Bayissa Leta Danno is the President of Ambo University, Ethiopia, and an Associate Professor of Analytical and Environmental Chemistry. He has extensive experience in higher education leadership, research, and academic development, with a strong focus on strengthening university–industry linkages, promoting innovation ecosystems, and advancing quality and relevance in higher education.
He has actively engaged in international academic collaboration and policy dialogues, representing his institution and contributing to continental and global discussions on the future of higher education in Africa.
