Dr. Jian Xu, Vice Rector (Administration) at the University of Macau, is a veteran in the cross-sector partnership building, knowledge transfer and technology commercialization, incubation of technology startups, management of public funding schemes, and talent development support, with extensive experiences in academic institution, commercial enterprise and statutory organization.
Previously, Dr. Xu served as Chief Commercial Officer at Hong Kong Science & Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP), where she played a pivotal role in advancing Hong Kong’s innovation ecosystem and spearheading Greater Bay Area (GBA) strategies. Earlier, she led technology transfer and R&D commercialization at the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST). Dr. Xu remains dedicated to driving innovation and fostering technological progress across the University of Macau and the wider GBA region.
