For over 40 years, Dr. Jorge Asjana David's experience in the classroom has allowed him to teach fundamental courses for medical training, as well as deliver keynote lectures both nationally and internationally. His vast experience is the fruit of a meritorious academic career that began as an anatomy teaching assistant, progressing through all teaching ranks (Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, Associate Professor, and Full Professor), until in 2025 he received the highest distinction awarded by the UASD for an extraordinary teaching career: Professor Emeritus.
As a university administrator and academic leader, he has held high-level executive roles promoting curriculum modernization, strengthening inter-institutional relationships, supporting research, and enhancing the international reach of higher education. He is also the Founding President of the University for Society Academic Movement (UNPASO).
