Lissy is Country Director of the British Council in Singapore, the UK’s international organisation for cultural relations and international opportunities. Over the last ten years in the British Council, she has helmed several portfolios, working with educators in the public and private schools in Singapore, as well as with universities in the UK and in Singapore. Prior to this, she spent more than ten years in the tertiary educational sector, primarily engaged in developing transnational partnerships between higher educational institutions. Lissy holds an MBA from the University of Birmingham, UK. Her first degree is in Veterinary Science, and she also has a Masters in Veterinary Microbiology. She also sits on the Board of the British Chamber of Commerce Singapore.
