Dr. Ma. Teresita P. Medado is President of Asia Pacific College (APC), an industry-centric higher education institution established through the partnership of IBM Philippines and the SM Group. She has served APC since 1994 and has been its President since 2018.
Under her leadership, APC has pursued the challenge of building an industry-led higher education system that integrates technology, workplace learning, and academic preparation. Guided by her commitment to lifelong learning and human capital development, she has strengthened the alignment of education with evolving workforce needs, advancing innovation, employability, and industry relevance.
Beyond APC, Dr. Medado serves on the academic boards of MFI Polytechnic Institute, Inc. and the Philippine National Police Academy.
She is also actively engaged in disaster resilience and social development as a Board Member of ARISE Philippines and Convenor of the Women’s International Network on Disaster Risk Reduction Philippines.
Dr. Medado holds a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Management from De La Salle University-Manila and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from the University of the Philippines.
