Hugo Rojas Corral is an Associate Professor of Sociology of Law in the Department of Law at the Catholic University of Uruguay and a Research Associate at the Faculty of Law of Alberto Hurtado University. He holds a DPhil in Sociology from the University of Oxford and a PhD in Law from the University of Salamanca. His interdisciplinary research focuses on the relationship between law, politics, and society, particularly in contexts marked by political violence and human rights violations
