Katsuhiko Namikawa is an experienced advisor with a distinguished career spanning international finance, global education, and digital transformation.
Namikawa spent 30 years at Mitsui Bank (now SMBC), including 17 years in London, where as an Executive Director of SMBC Europe Ltd., he drove Japanese corporate expansion across Europe, Africa, and the Middle East. After returning to Japan, he contributed to the internationalization of several Japanese universities. Transitioning further into global education, Mr. Namikawa served as Director and President of ISI Education Group and Tokyo Business Language College (TBL) from 2015, and was appointed Honorary President and Full-time Advisor in 2023. Additionally, he supports regional economic growth through his role on the Tokyo Chamber of Commerce and Industry's SME DX Promotion Committee, while remaining dedicated to fostering international relations, particularly between Japan and Europe.
