Marco Antonio Bueno Silva is a manufacturing and business innovation executive with more than two decades of international leadership experience across engineering, operations, product development, project management, and general management within the automotive, medical and advanced manufacturing sectors. His career spans executive and technical leadership roles in Mexico, the United States, and Japan, providing him with a multicultural perspective on industrial competitiveness, organizational development, and innovation ecosystems.
He holds a degree in Electromechanical Engineering from Universidad Panamericana and a Master’s degree in Industrial Management from Universidad de las Américas Puebla, complemented by graduate studies in corporate finance, quality management, project management, and certifications in Lean Manufacturing, Automotive Quality Management System and Financial Strategy.
Throughout his professional career, Marco has led multidisciplinary and multicultural teams in global manufacturing organizations, driving operational excellence, new product introduction, strategic growth initiatives, and organizational transformation. His experience includes senior leadership positions at international Tier 1 manufacturing companies, as well as entrepreneurial ventures focused on advanced manufacturing, technology adoption, and business development.
As co-founder of Kobnex and Nubus Precision, he has actively promoted stronger connections between industry, technology, talent development, and entrepreneurship. He is also engaged in higher education as a university lecturer in advanced manufacturing disciplines, contributing to the development of future engineering and industrial leaders.
His work is centered on fostering collaboration between industry and academia to accelerate innovation, strengthen workforce readiness, and enhance the competitiveness of manufacturing ecosystems in Mexico.
