Maria Gabriela Benitez

María Gabriela Benítez is an Industrial Engineering alumna of USFQ (Ecuador), holding a Master's in Project Management from the Universitat de Barcelona (Spain) and a Master's in Data and Business Management. She has 9 years of experience in information management and higher education processes, with an emphasis on Continuous Improvement and Accreditation, and for the past 5 years with a focus on research-related matters. Within the Vice Presidency for Research and Global Positioning (VIP) at USFQ, she recently took on responsibility for institutional rankings, including work related to the QS World University Rankings. Throughout her career, she has developed technological tools for information management, optimized processes, and structured institutional data on an ongoing basis, under a data governance approach, with the aim of facilitating and clarifying management pathways for researchers and professors.
