Mónica Toledo Soto holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Production Processes from the Instituto Tecnológico de Toluca. She currently serves as R&D Supervisor within the Global Packaging Team at Grupo Bimbo, bringing extensive expertise in the conceptualization and deployment of advanced packaging solutions centered on innovation, sustainability, regulatory compliance, and consumer experience. Throughout her career, she has spearheaded applied research initiatives in close collaboration with global material suppliers, technology hubs, academic institutions, and cross-functional teams, facilitating the seamless transfer of knowledge from basic research to commercial implementation. Her work focuses on identifying and scaling emerging technologies that drive business value, fostering high-impact innovation ecosystems that connect industry, academia, and strategic partners to accelerate market-ready solutions.
