Prof. Dr. Didi Sukyadi, MA, is an Indonesian scholar, educator, and academic leader at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia (UPI), Bandung. He has served as a faculty member since 1994 and has held several strategic leadership positions at UPI, including Dean of the Faculty of Language and Arts Education, Vice Rector for Research, Partnerships and Business, and Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, and Rector of Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia 2025-2030. He earned his bachelor’s degree in English Education from IKIP Bandung, a master’s degree in Primary Education from the University of London, and a doctoral degree from Universitas Indonesia. His academic interests and scholarly work encompass English language education, teacher education, assessment, multimodality, curriculum, and language learning. He has authored books, book chapters, and numerous journal articles on English teaching, multimodal communication, assessment, and educational technology. He is also actively involved in international professional organizations, including TESOL International, IATEFL, and ASIA TEFL, and contributes as a journal reviewer and academic examiner.
