Prof Gang Jin

晋刚，工学博士、教授、博士生导师。华南理工大学副校长，新疆大学副校长（援疆），国家重点研发计划首席科学家。主要从事高分子加工过程实时测量与表征技术等相关研究。先后主持承担国家重点研发计划项目1项及课题1项、国家重大科学仪器设备开发专项1项、国家自然科学基金面上项目1项等重大科研项目，发表SCI收录论文77篇，授权发明专利11项。获得国家科技进步二等奖1项，国家技术发明二等奖1项。

JIN Gang, Ph.D. in Engineering, Professor, and Doctoral Supervisor, currently serves as Vice President of South China University of Technology and Vice President of Xinjiang University (on secondment to support Xinjiang), and is Chief Scientist of the National Key R&D Program of China. His research focuses on real-time measurement and characterization technologies for polymer processing. He has led multiple major projects, including one National Key R&D Program project and one sub-project, one Major Special Project for Development of National Scientific Instruments, and one General Program of the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published 77 SCI-indexed papers and holds 11 authorized invention patents. His honors include one Second Prize of the National Award for Science and Technology Progress and one Second Prize of the National Award for Technological Invention.
