Javier Tordable is Vice Dean of Finance and Vice Dean and Academic Director of the Master in Finance at IE Business School.
He brings international experience as a senior finance executive, investor, entrepreneur and adviser across capital markets, derivatives, fintech and trading technology. He has held leadership roles at Deutsche Börse/Eurex, MTS Markets (Euronext Group), the Chicago Board of Trade (CME Group), PAVE MTF and Cinnober (Nasdaq), with a career spanning Frankfurt, Chicago, Madrid, Stockholm and London. He has advised on initiatives including BBVA Spark, a technology SPAC with Inveready and the blockchain-based stock exchange STX. Since joining IE in 2020, he has led Finance within Talent & Careers, managed the Finance pathway in the IMBA and Master in Management programmes, and worked closely with employers to align academic content with market needs.
