Katie Lunnon is Professor of Dementia Genomics at the University of Exeter, where she leads the Dementia Genomics group. Her research uses cutting-edge multi-omic approaches to understand the molecular mechanisms underlying dementia, integrating different layers of genomic regulation to identify novel disease pathways in the brain and biomarkers in blood. She has published ~100 research papers, with an H-index of 52 and is internationally recognised for her work. Alongside her research, Katie is Associate Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Global Engagement in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences, providing strategic leadership for the development of international partnerships, collaborations and global engagement activity.
