Prof Majid Movahedi Rad

Majid Movahedi Rad is Professor and Vice-Dean of the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering, and Transport Sciences at Széchenyi István University, Hungary, where he leads the faculty's international accreditation strategy.

In this role, Majid drives engagement with global quality assurance frameworks, positioning the institution within the international higher education landscape. He earned his PhD from the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2011 and has been a faculty member at Széchenyi István University since 2012. He is the founder of the Computational Mechanics Research Group and has authored over 140 scientific papers in reputable international journals. A frequent speaker at international higher education events and scientific conferences worldwide, he has built an extensive network across the global academic community. Recognized among the world's top 2% of scientists in the Stanford University ranking, he has received numerous grants and awards for his contributions to engineering research and international higher education.
