Prof Neil Hernández Gress

Prof. Neil Hernández Gress, BS '93, MSc '95, and PhD '98, is the Director for Research and an active professor at Tecnológico de Monterrey (Mexico). He has worked in Data Science, Machine Learning, and Artificial Intelligence methodologies for decision-making, diagnosis, and supervision for the past 30 years. He is the author and co-author of over 70 research publications and has received funding for more than 30 external projects, securing upwards of 20 million USD. Prof. Hernández Gress has established scientific collaborations with several laboratories across Europe, North America, and Asia. He is a staunch advocate for justified decision-making in research administration at universities, research groups, research centers, and institutes. Over the past seven years, he has significantly increased his university's research impact.
