Associate Professor Robyn Johns is Deputy Dean of UTS Business School at the University of Technology Sydney, where she works across strategy, academic workforce planning, organisational performance, leadership capability, accreditation and quality assurance. She has been with UTS Business School since 2003 and has held a range of senior academic leadership roles, including Associate Dean (Academic).
With a background in human resource management, Robyn’s teaching and research focus on contemporary workplace challenges, including flexible and hybrid work, occupational stress and wellbeing, psychosocial risk, burnout and the four-day working week. She has also led university-wide work examining the future of work, organisational adaptability and new approaches to workplace design and collaboration.
Before entering academia, Robyn worked in corporate human resource management and the public health sector, which continues to inform her practical, evidence-based approach to leadership and organisational decision-making.
