Prof. Widodo is the Rector of Universitas Brawijaya,Indonesia, and a professor in cancer biology at Faculty of Sciences, Technologyand Mathematics. His academic and research interests include biotechnology,biomedical sciences, biochemistry, cell biology, and molecular health biology.As Rector, he leads Universitas Brawijaya’s efforts to advance academicexcellence, international collaboration, research, innovation, and inclusivestudent development. He is committed to strengthening meaningful globalengagement and creating educational experiences that enable international studentsto move beyond being welcomed toward developing a genuine sense of belonging.
