Prof Hannah Holmes

Professor Hannah Holmes is Dean of the Business School and Deputy Pro Vice-Chancellor within the Faculty of Business and Law at Manchester Metropolitan University. She leads a triple-accredited business school ranked among the top 1% globally, with a strong focus on research excellence, responsible management education and civic impact.

Hannah is recognised for values-led leadership and for positioning business schools as drivers of regional growth, international collaboration and sustainable innovation. Under her leadership, the School has strengthened its global accreditation standing, enhanced research impact, and deepened engagement with small businesses and enterprise partners.

She is a Principal Fellow of Advance HE and holds a number of national and international governance roles across accreditation and quality assurance. Hannah is particularly interested in how business schools can integrate academic rigour, inclusive education and meaningful societal impact in a rapidly evolving higher education landscape.
