Sergio Abramovich has worked in the education sector (K-12, Higher Ed, and workforce development) for over 25 years as a start-up founder, board member, investor, and advisor of several educational companies in Latin America, Europe and the US. He has focused his entire career on broadening access to education and building bridges among countries and cultures.
He is currently the CEO of Scala Learning, a company that partners with traditional campus-based universities to launch and manage their online divisions under a white-label model, currently serving over 35,000 students
Previously, he was the founder and CEO of Ingenious Schools, a management platform for K-12 schools in the Americas. Earlier, Sergio was the SVP of Operations and Strategy for GEMS Americas, leading the expansion in the region. Before that, he was the VP of International Business Development and Operations at Adtalem, leading the investment of more than $400M in acquisitions globally.
Sergio had vast experience with online operations working at the consulting arm of UOC, and FUNIBER, a Spanish OPM.
He holds an MBA degree from the Wharton School of Business and a bachelor’s degree in Economics from the Universidad Nacional de Cuyo, Argentina.
