Shelly Maller has more than two decades of experience in higher education, spanning international education, partnerships, student recruitment, governance and risk.
After spending more than 15 years within a university, Shelly now works across the sector, leading partnership strategy for QS across Australia and New Zealand. She works closely with institutions and their executive teams on performance, reputation, recruitment and broader strategic priorities.
With higher education navigating significant change driven by AI, demographic shifts, policy reform and evolving student expectations, Shelly is increasingly involved in discussions and initiatives exploring how these forces are reshaping institutional priorities and competitiveness. Her work focuses on the role of leadership, partnerships, data and innovation in helping universities adapt and thrive.
