Stefano Caselli is Dean of SDA Bocconi School of Management and Full Professor of Banking and Finance at Bocconi University, where he holds the Algebris Chairin Long-Term Investment and Absolute Return. From 2012 to 2022, he served as Vice-Rector for International Affairs at Bocconi University.
He is the author of numerous publications on the relationship between the financial system and corporate growth. He is a member of the External Advisory Board of the School of Transnational Governance at the European University Institute (EUI) in Florence and a member of the International Advisory Board of the Stockholm School of Economics (SSE).
Since March 2024, he has been a member of the Coordinating Committee established by the Italian Ministry of Economy and Finance (MEF) for the Reform of Capital Markets.
In parallel, he serves as an independent director on the boards of several corporations and financial institutions, both public and private. His current appointments include Unipol Assicurazioni S.p.A., FSI – Fondo Strategico Italiano SGR S.p.A., and Sosteneo SGR S.p.A. He is also Chairman of Bocconi Endowment Management.
He is a columnist for L’Economia, the weekly financial supplement of Corriere della Sera.
