Chen Lin

Chen Lin is Vice-President and Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Business), Stelux Professor in Finance and Chair Professor of Finance at the University of Hong Kong. He is also the Executive Director of the HKU-Standard Chartered Foundation FinTech Academy and the Director of the Centre for Financial Innovation and Development. He serves on the Task Force on Promoting Web3 Development of the Hong Kong SAR Government, the Central Bank Digital Currency (CBDC) Expert Group of the Hong Kong Monetary Authority (HKMA), and the Fintech Advisory Group of the Securities and Futures Commission (SFC). He is an Advisory Council member and a research fellow at the Academy of Finance of HKMA, a member of Hang Seng Index Advisory Committee, an international advisor to the Chinese Academy of Sciences' AMSS, and an Academic Committee Member of the Institute of Chinese State- Owned Enterprises at Tsinghua University.
