Executive Director Chris Carey leads the Office of Global Engagement at Massey University in New Zealand. His responsibilities include leading international student recruitment efforts as well as inbound and outbound study abroad and student exchange. Chris leads the international relations functions at Massey University including the establishment and management of institutional partnerships with universities and organisations globally, with a key focus on building and leading key strategic partnerships. He has served in leadership roles in international education for the past 17 years at Massey, the University of Auckland, and The Ohio State University. He graduated with a Bachelor’s in Environmental Engineering from the US Military Academy at West Point and an MBA in International Business from Vlerick Business School in Belgium.
