Dina has a bachelor’s degree in computer sciences engineering, a Master's in Executive Management of Engineering Projects, and PhD Candidate in Executive Management of High-Technology Companies. She is Certified Consultant in Supply Chain Management by IBM.
Dina started her professional career in IBM in 1986, through the last 40 years she has played different roles in Engineering, Procurement, Manufacturing, Inventory management, Business controls, Operations Management, Fulfillment, Finance, Procurement Solutions & Client Facing. Currently she is the Supply Chain Executive in IBM de Mexico.
Her contributions to multiple Supply Chain processes goes from supply demand for a manufacturing plant to intense external client exposure on sales engagements, Supply Chain Management Solutions design and actual delivery of the services. She is distinguished by her efforts in the adoption to the new technology of Digital Era, AI and Supply Chain connection across IBM. She has been key to develop strategic plans to have a secure Supply Chain.
Dina has been always committed to the development of the industry. She participates in different chambers and industrial organizations representing IBM. She works actively in strengthen and have a more effective Supply Chain for the industry in Jalisco. In 2012 she was recognized as Distinguished Industrial due to her many contributions to the High Technology Industry in Mexico. And in 2024 she was recognized as Woman of the Year in the Industry Category, a global recognition by the Stevie Awards.
Currently she is an active member of the High Technology Industry Chamber (CANIETI), where she was appointed as President from 2020 till 2023. First woman in this role within CANIETI West Chapter, now she is playing the role as VP of Semiconductors and Counselor. CANIETI mission is to serve as catalyzer for the economic development, the innovation and global competitiveness of the High Technology Industry in Mexico. She is also counselor for several chambers and associations as: INDEX, CADELEC and AMCHAM.
