Dr Björn Kjellander

Dr Björn Kjellander has worked with Quality Assurance and Accreditation since 2010, focusing on overall performance, quality, and effectiveness across education and research activities.

Björn currently works with nurturing networks (including EFMD, AACSB, and AMBA) on several projects aimed at raising the quality of national and international activities, including mentoring and board assignments. He chairs the AACSB European Affinity Group Board and is a recurring speaker and keynote speaker. He also works as an international advisor in strategy, leadership, and quality assurance management.

His experience spans direction of quality assurance and accreditation (2010 to present), AACSB mentoring (2018 to present), chairing the AACSB European Affinity Group Board (2022 to present), and serving as an EFMD Quality Assurance Academy Mentor and EFMD Smart Data Management Workshop Facilitator (both 2021 to present). He also holds several international advisory board appointments across Europe and North Africa, including one board chair position.

Björn holds a PhD (University of Sussex, England) in American Studies, focusing on entrepreneurship history, and a teaching degree from Gothenburg University, Sweden. He is a faculty member and a member of his school's research centre dedicated to family enterprise and ownership.
