His Excellency Professor Ebrahim Al Hajri is the President of Khalifa University of Science and Technology, one of the UAE’s leading research-intensive universities.
An accomplished academic, researcher, and higher education leader, he brings extensive experience in institutional transformation, strategic leadership, and scientific research. His leadership focuses on advancing educational excellence, pioneering research, artificial intelligence, innovation, entrepreneurship, and strengthening the connection between academia and industry.
Prior to his appointment as President, he held several senior leadership positions, including Senior Vice President at Khalifa University and Vice Chancellor of the Emirates College for Advanced Education.
Prof. Al Hajri holds a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland, USA, and has published extensively in advanced energy systems, thermal engineering, and energy efficiency.
