Dr J. Leslie Zachariah-Wolff

Leslie serves as Secretary General of the IDEA League, a strategic alliance of five leading European universities of technology.

In this role, Leslie fosters collaboration across member institutions in the Netherlands, Switzerland, Germany, Sweden, and Italy, coordinating initiatives focused on best practice exchange, benchmarking, and knowledge sharing at all organisational levels. Working closely with university leadership, Leslie helps shape strategies that strengthen the impact of technology research and advanced engineering education, while representing the alliance in a wide range of international contexts.

Holding a PhD in Civil and Environmental Engineering and an MSc in Project Management, Leslie brings strong analytical expertise and leadership capabilities to complex, multidisciplinary environments. A pragmatic strategist and collaborative leader, Leslie is skilled at translating vision into action, motivating diverse teams, and navigating international partnerships with clarity and purpose.
