José Alejandro Aybar M., PhD, received his Ph.D. degree from Nova Southeastern University, USA, in 2023. His main research interests include applications of Artificial Intelligence to the management of Higher Education and the implications of Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Business Strategy. He also has a professional certificate in AI from the MIT Sloan School of Management. He is the President of the Board of Trustees and Chancellor of the Universidad del Caribe (UNICARIBE), the President of the Caribbean Military Academy (AMC), the Executive Director of Virtual Educa Caribe, the Vice President of the Association of Rectors of the Caribbean and the Americas (ARCA), the Past President of the Dominican Association of Universities (ADOU), and the President of the Universidad del Caribe (UNICARIBE College) of Florida.
