Dr. Lerwen Liu is an associate professor of entrepreneurship at Nanyang Technological University (NTU) and a resource person for technopreneurship and Circular Economy at the Asian Development Bank (ADB). She specializes in business development and education in emerging technologies, circular & green economy transition.
At NTU, she focuses on purpose-driven entrepreneurship education with authentic local and global content and innovative pedagogy to nurture effective problem solvers with system thinking, sustainability and business knowledge. Her research focuses on developing an ecosystem integrating both human and artificial intelligence through data entrepreneurship to accelerate the transition towards sustainability and the circular economy.
She has over 25 years of practice in global business development for emerging technologies through building strategic partnership & communication, and marketing. She is an ecosystem builder, bridging government, industry, and academia to develop sustainable solutions that address the challenges humanity faces today. She has worked in both the developed and developing world, focusing on youth leadership and entrepreneurship development towards sustainability.
She is the Editor-in-Chief of Handbook for Circular Economy & Sustainability Global Leadership published by Springer Nature and a member of the QS Global Advisory Subcommittee Asia Pacific.
