Dr Prof Zviad Gabisonia

Dr Prof Zviad Gabisonia is the Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia.

Dr Prof Zviad Gabisonia is the Deputy Minister of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia. In addition, he is a member of the Council of Europe Commitee of Experts on Artificial Intelligence and Education (EDU-IA) and a member of the Council of Europe Working Group of Experts on Artificial Intelligence and Recognition of Qualifications. Prior to this role, he served as an expert in Digital Education and Artificial Intelligence at the Ministry of Education, Science and Youth of Georgia, and as an advisor on legal issues of Digital Governance and Artificial Intelligence at the Ministry of Justice of Georgia, Digital Governance Agency. Moreover, Zviad Gabisonia was the Director General of the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia. In addition to his current roles, Zviad Gabisonia is a visiting Professor at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and the author of eight books and fifty scientific publications, holds twelve scientific grants.
