Dr Ramakrishnan Raman

Dr. Ramakrishnan Raman is the Vice Chancellor of Symbiosis International (Deemed University), a distinguished academic leader and accomplished professional with over two decades of experience spanning corporate, academic, and research domains. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering, an MBA in Systems and Marketing, and a Ph.D. in Management. Over the past decade at Symbiosis, Dr. Raman has served in key leadership roles including Director of SCIT and SIBM Pune, Dean of the Faculty of Management, and Director of Strategy & Development. His academic and research interests encompass Information Systems, IT Strategy, Entrepreneurship and Artificial Intelligence. A strong advocate for global collaboration, he has fostered partnerships with leading universities in Japan, Canada, the UK, and the US. As Vice Chancellor, he envisions driving innovation, excellence, and global engagement across Symbiosis’ higher education ecosystem.
