Professor Reetika Gupta is Deputy Dean, ESSEC Business School. As head of the APAC campus, she aspires to strengthen ties with the industry, government agencies, and academic institutions in Singapore and the region and stay committed to enhancing student and participant experiences across programs. She received her PhD in Marketing from Baruch College, City University of New York (CUNY) and before joining ESSEC, she was a faculty member at Lehigh University (USA). Professor Gupta has lived and worked in India, USA and Singapore. She has won awards for teaching, research and service.
Her cross-functional research interests span across both marketing and information systems. She has published in leading academic journals such as Management Information Systems Quarterly, Journal of Consumer Psychology and Journal of Business Ethics. She has served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Consumer Marketing and is a member of the Editorial Review Board of the Journal of Business Research.
