Dr Rini Setiowati, S.E., M.B.A.

Since 2024, Dr. Rini Setiowati serves as the Vice Rector for Collaboration & Global Engagement of BINUS University, overseeing the implementation of the university’s internationalization, partnership, and global reputation strategy. She began her academic career at the United Arab Emirates in 2003. She joined BINUS Business School in 2008 and took office as the Dean for its Master Program in 2018. Dr. Rini’s expertise in strategic planning, organizational development, and consumer behaviour has involved her in numerous capacity-building and research programs at leading Indonesian firms such Unilever, Dexa Medica, Nestlé Indonesia, Nutrifood, Astra International, Holcim, and OCBC NISP. She sits as the Board Advisor for the Indonesia Travel and Tourism Awards, served as Jury for Indonesia Sales and Marketing Awards, and the Chair of Jury for the SDG Innovation Accelerator for Young Professionals – an initiative of UN Global Compact Network Indonesia (IGCN) and National Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).
