Dr Saleh Al Sharieh

Dr. Saleh Al-Sharieh is Director of the Research and Sponsored Projects Office and Associate Professor of Law at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). An internationally recognized expert in intellectual property law and innovation governance, he brings over two decades of experience across legal advisory, teaching and research, and innovation management.

His work focuses on innovation regulation, intellectual property, data protection, and comparative law. He holds an LL.D. and an LL.M. in Law & Technology from the University of Ottawa. Prior to joining UAEU, he held academic and research positions in Canada, Luxembourg, and the Netherlands, alongside significant industry experience in intellectual property and innovation management.
