Dr Yanpeng Cai

Dr. Yanpeng Cai, professor at Guangdong University of Technology (GDUT), director of the Division for Strategic Planning and Development, and director of Guangdong Provincial Key Laboratory of Water Quality Improvement and Ecological Restoration for Watersheds; obtained Ph.D. degree at the University of Regina in Canada; produced over 450 conference and journal papers, with over 400 published in peer-reviewed journals such as Engineering (Elsevier), Nature Water, and PNAS; Involved in over 50 research projects supported by industrial and public sectors such as NSFC (National Natural Science Foundation of China), NSERC (Natural Sciences and Engineering Research Council of Canada), and Environment Canada; delivered over 100 oral presentations at conferences, workshops, symposiums, or seminars; personal H factor is 58 (i.e., over 58 papers have been cited over 58 times per paper in Web of Science); over 5 international, national and Provincial academic awards; associate editor for Journal of Cleaner Production, and Ecological Engineering.
