Emilia Gazel has spent 34 years in private higher education, 18 of them at Universidad Fidélitas. There she has served as Director of Academic Processes and Vice-Rector, and she now leads the university as Rector. She holds a master's in Educational Administration and a diploma in STEM–STEAM methodology (OAS). She has led program design, accreditation, and the adoption of STEM approaches at university level. She is an international peer reviewer for the accreditation agency EQUAA and champions entrepreneurship and AI as drivers of educational transformation. Her ongoing professional development includes programs with Laspau (Harvard-affiliated), UNESCO and Babson College.
