Dr Enrique Sanz Gimenez-Rico

Enrique Sanz Giménez-Rico, SJ, is Director of the Center for Ignatian Integral Humanism at Universidad Iberoamericana, Ciudad de México. A Spanish Jesuit, biblical theologian, and higher education leader, he holds degrees in Biblical Philology (Salamanca), Sacred Scripture (Pontifical Biblical Institute, Rome), and a doctorate in Theology (Universidad Pontificia Comillas). He served as dean of the Faculties of Theology and Canon Law at Comillas (2015–2021) and as its Rector (2021–2024), emphasizing the Jesuit university's mission to educate men and women for others. In 2025 he joined the Department of Religious Sciences and the Commission for the Internationalization of Ibero, where he took part in drafting its internationalization strategy. He is the author of more than fifty publications.
