Esteban Veintimilla is Director of Product and Partnerships, Employability at QS.

During his tenure at the University of Waterloo, Esteban identified a growing disconnect between higher education and the evolving demands of the labour market. This insight inspired him to found 1Mentor, a company that uses artificial intelligence to help universities bridge the gap between academic programs and industry needs.

Following QS Quacquarelli Symonds’ acquisition of 1Mentor, Esteban now leads the
development of innovative partnerships and technology that empower institutions to strengthen student employability, align curricula with market trends, and adapt to a rapidly changing world.
