Jeff Young is an education journalist and the creator and host of Learning Curve, a podcast about how education can adapt to the age of generative AI.
He previously served as the managing editor of EdSurge and the producer and host of the weekly EdSurge Podcast about the future of learning. Before that he was an editor and reporter for The Chronicle of Higher Education.
Young has also taught courses on digital journalism at the University of Maryland and the University of Minnesota.
Young continues to write freelance articles for a variety of national publications, and his recent work has appeared in The Hechinger Report, Teen Vogue, Fast Company and on APM's Marketplace.
Young is a frequent speaker on issues of education and technology, having spoken at the World Knowledge Forum in Seoul, SXSW Interactive, and at education events.
He received a bachelor’s degree in English from Princeton University and a master’s in communication, culture, and technology from Georgetown University.
